Championship Golf Course

In its first major investment in a North American planned community, Sumitomo Forestry Seattle Inc. has joined forces with Cascadia to develop the community’s first resort, including an 18-hole golf course and surrounding residential lots.

Soon to be known as the Pinehurst of the Northwest, Cascadia's golf course is reminiscent of the "Golden Age Era courses" that require as much thought as shot taking.

Designed by legendary course architect John Harbottle, it will fit the terrain with a minimalist approach, letting the contour of the land produce strategy and variety.

  • The spectacular setting features majestic views of Mount Rainier, beautiful forests and intriguing water features.

  • A little over half of the 225-acre site will be turf, with the remaining land covered with indigenous vegetation.

  • Hazards will be complimented with bailout areas, creating a variety of ways to play each hole.

  • Stretching over 7400 yards, the back tees will challenge the "best of the best," while multiple other tees will accommodate golfers of every ability.

  • A state-of-the-art practice facility will offer tees on both ends, target greens, fairway bunkers, undulating lies, short game area and large putting green.
